Indie-Pop Trio Jody And The Jerms Share New Album

Made up of members of member of 90’s band The Anydays, famed for their rave reviews in NME as well as playing support for the likes of Radiohead and Supergrass, Jody & The Jerms have held onto their 90 indie-pop tendencies but to great effect.
The upcoming album ‘Deeper’ comes of the back of national radio play in Spain, big support from BBC Introducing as well as coverage across US and UK radio. Opening with the bright, airy title track ‘Deeper’ the new album immediately brings to mind a merge of Doves, Mazzy Star. The further you delve into the album, tracks such as Today and the stand out track of the album, ‘Never Look Back’ adds a grungier tone to the bands sound, comparable to the likes of Best Coast and The Cars.
An album full of surprises like the unexpected cover of ‘Another Girl Another Planet’ underlines and album bringing together 90’s indie-pop with a fresh, airy sound touching on dream-pop. Well worth keeping an eye out for the release come September!
