IKONIK Return With Defiant New Single ‘Out Of Line’
New York 4-piece IKONIK are back, once again showcasing their unique blistering, intense and unapologetic sound on the new single ‘Out Of Line’. Having sold out most all legendary New York City venues, the band have built an incessant following and are now finally officially releasing their material.
The follow up to last month’s release ‘Believe’, the new single ‘Out Of Line’ once again tops thunderous guitar riffs with soulful vocals, thoughtful lyricism and moments of rap to create a strikingly impactful, polished end product. Bringing together catchy vocal lines with the unrelenting, punchy and cinematic heavy-rock backing, ‘Out Of Line’ is a prime example of what the band are about, perfectly capturing the ferocious energy which is prevalent in their live shows. Topped off with a blistering guitar solo, the single’s sense of anger, biting urgency and immediacy shines.
Speaking about the new single, the band describe the song as being about: “The courage to walk away from people and situations that don’t serve you anymore.”
Fronted by the pin-point vocals of Jayson Castor (son of the legendary Jimmy Castor), thick walls of guitar from Russell Ort, grounding bass from John Ricco and tight drums from Duncan Whitney, IKONIK’s explosive sound brings together a range of influences to create rock music full of earworm hooks and musical prowess.
With a wealth of experience and many achievements, IKONIK have proved that they have more than enough talent to make their mark on the music industry. Having spent a spell being touted as one of the hottest new bands in New York City, selling out headline shows and being pursued by a whole host of major labels, the band is now ready to put out their new work and showcase what a brilliant band they are.
